If the tune seems familiar to my Indian friends then leme whisper in their ears that it was adapted by Bappi Lahiri in 90's Amitabh&Jaya Prada starer movie Aaj ka Arjun.. Yeah now u remember Gori hain Kalaiyaan sung by Lata&Shabbir Kumar. I wonder why the singers dun refuse to sing copy songs..Big guns like Noor Jehan, Lata, Kishore etc. all have sung these..and music directors from both countries are ahead of each other in doing this..most notorious being Nadeem Sharavan, Bappi Lahiri, M.Ashraf and almost all new Music Directors of both India&Pakistan. Keep in mind plz that Lyricists are no exception as they do play a major role..They bring minor changes in the song wordings or take only initial wording and change the stanzas etc. Anyways enjoy the original tune now.RegardsDr.BukhariNote: This movie is now available in beautiful audio video as evident here.
